It feels weird saying this but.. It’s been a fun run, 7 years of wild shows and absolute debauchery 3 houses over from where I grew up most of my childhood and teenage years into the early years of my band. It started as band practice a few times a week which lead to small shows with 10/15 people because venues would cancel on us last minute that eventually lead to me wanting to just book my own shows and help other bands with shows and without the stress of presales or really any rules other than have fun. Once I started taking a little more on things grew in sizes way beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. Along the route a good friend of mine came through and helped me with various things at the shows and then he brought a festival to The Bat Ranch that further helped change this rapidly growing thing. He called it “Lake Wreck” which he did there for a couple years in a row. The last one was one he did there in 2021 when things started to lift from Covid-19 is one no one will ever soon forget. The last show here was March 25th and then some thing’s came up and that lead to most the year of silence and trying to make sure this is still the safe space we all came into in the beginning. But along that process the place was sold. In early September I got a phone call and I was told I can do one more show there to put it to and end when I thought I was never gonna get closure on something I did for years. So I’m gonna do exactly that. Let’s send this thing off with a bang. This gonna be Keep Flying’s central Florida date as well as Bay Street’s tour kick off and then some of my personal favorite bands out Florida. - Devin, Bay Street
